Powermax EtherCAT Interface for EDGE Connect

The Powermax® Interface is equipped with EtherCAT® technology to connect Powermax systems to the EDGE® Connect CNC. This all-in-one adapter simplifies equipment connectivity down to a single device.
Connected systems increase operator productivity. The Powermax Interface delivers real-time diagnostic information, allowing operators to resolve most issues via the Phoenix® software, without returning to the power supply.

Benefits
Faster and simplified machine setup
A single communication device eliminates complex hard wire connections and provides more flexibility to any cabling arrangements based on your equipment setup. The EtherCAT box can be installed inside the drive cabinet or closer to the Powermax equipment, mounted vertically or horizontally using provided brackets.
Embedded automatic process control
Produce high-quality parts through built-in intelligence of the Powermax SYNC® systems. Only compatible processes for the installed cartridge are displayed and communicated automatically to the EDGE Connect CNC Phoenix software upon startup.
Alerts to real-time diagnostic information
The Powermax Interface synchronizes data exchange between the connected systems. Operators are instantly alerted to incorrect cut parameters and prevented from selecting a current higher than the installed cartridge. Also, operators can perform a soft reset of the Powermax system within the Phoenix software without a physical reset on the power supply equipment.
